Your assessment will tell you where your home would benefit from upgrades, but you may also already know you have specific projects you would like to complete.

Our team performs a wide variety of work in your home, most common projects are:

• Insulation

• Air sealing

• Pipe wrapping

• HVAC Heating and Cooling servicing and replacement

• Home safety and comfort improvements - including lead abatement and window installation

This chimney had huge gaps that let warm air from the home leak into the attic. We sealed the gaps and then properly insulated.

A very common problem, imagine you are in your car with the heat on full blast but your back window is stuck open. The heat required to keep you warm will be many more times what you would need if you fixed the broken back window.

Co-founders Kevin and Sadie were the first people in the State of Wisconsin to purchase a home through a Green Mortgage! After navigating the muddy waters on their own, a passion was born to help people through the same process.

Green Mortgages are an excellent way to bundle the cost of improvements into your mortgage. The utility cost savings are likely to save you money, too. We provide step by step assistance through the process. We also have partnered with many great realtors and banks if Southeast Wisconsin to help during the process, though we can advocate with any bank and work with any realtor.

We are not mortgage brokers and do not ourselves offer green mortgages. Instead, Green Homeowners United is a licensed contractor that can perform the home improvement work as part of your Green Mortgage process. We’re here to help you bring your vision to life!
